It’s December, yay! It also means Christmas is right around the corner.
I love Christmas, but usually right around this time is when I get the what-do-I-buy-for-Christmas presents anxiety. If you are like me, then to save you the anxiety I go through every year, here’s a few gift ideas.
For me personally, gifts do not have to be expensive, yet, I always appreciate the thought, time and effort someone puts behind a gift. That’s why I have tried to split gifts under different categories, based on the kind of person you are buying for. This should make your job easier and also hopefully the loved one you are buying for thinks, they are thoughtful and personal to them. Also, items are under $100, so none of them have to break the bank, especially in these difficult times.
For The Skincare Junkie
Skincare is a great gift to give around Christmas time. You can either use them as stocking fillers because of their size or also as main gifts as good skincare is often not very cheap.
For The Makeup Lover
Make up makes for great stocking fillers. Christmas time is the best time to shop for makeup (maybe even for yourself) as often many brands come up with really cool makeup sets. Also, with many many festive parties and New Years around the corner, your loved one will be glad to have something new to add to their makeup bag.
For the Beauty Geek
If you know someone who is really into skincare and beauty and want to look after their skin and up their skincare game, then these can be great gifts.
For the Fragrance Lover
Fragrance is a very personal and subjective gift in my opinion. Yet, fragrances make a lovely gift. Receiving it as a gift is also a great way to discover new fragrances and if your loved one is a fragrance fanatic, they might enjoy discovering a new perfume or olfactive note.
For the Techie
If you are buying for someone who enjoys tech and gadgets, these are my favourite picks. They are as functional as functional can get, yet cool enough to help you win the coolest present award!
For the Jewellery Lover
When buying jewellery, the most important thing is to try to make it as personal as possible, especially for the festive season. Buying jewellery doesn’t have to break the bank. Here are some of my favourite pieces of jewellery.
For The Home Decor Lover
Home Decor pieces, especially pieces that can add an accent to a home can be a really great gift. If your loved one is someone who loves to keep their home pristine and loves to be a good host and loves pretty things. Here are some lovely options.
For The Bar Lover
If you know someone who loves loves a drink and being the perfect host and bar tender at every house party, then these are the perfect gift ideas for them.
For the Le Creuset Lover
As an adult, I have ALWAYS been a fan of Le Creuset. They make incredible cook and bakeware. Yet, it is not a cheap brand to own. Le Creuset items make great Christmas gifts and if you are buying for someone who homes to cook and bake, these would make a great gift! What’s better, they are all under $100!
For the Traveller
Although travel has been extremely this year because of the pandemic, if you know someone who has the travel bug, then here are some of my personal favourites for the eternal traveller.
For the Cozy one
Sometimes, wanting to be cozy and comfy is the best feeling. If you are buying for someone who loves to have their ‘me time’ and loves to chill and feel cozy, then these would be great gift options.
Also, if you are Dubai based like me, Aramex’s Shop and Ship is the best option because it helps ship everything from all over the world in case the retailer doesn’t ship to the UAE.
Happy Shopping!
