If you have ever googled, ?how to find the perfect sunglasses? then this post is for you.
For years, I was that girl, who googled and Pintrested how to find the perfect sunglasses for my face. Having a small face, I struggled to find the right shape and never felt confident in any sunnies.
However, all that changed for me and here is how you can find your perfect sunglasses too.

Know your Face Shape
To be able to find your perfect pair, firstly, know your face shape. There are several articles one face shape vs. shape of glasses that are really helpful to understand what works on you.
Example, if you have a round face, wearing glasses that are also round, may not be the best idea, as they will emphasize the round shape.
A few links I found helpful are here and here.
Confidence
As I mentioned earlier, I used to struggle with finding the perfect pair of glasses because I thought I had a small face. But it all changed, when I received a very chic pair of Tom Ford glasses at a work. I really dint feel confident wearing a large pair of cream Tom Ford glasses and was almost about to give them to my mum, when a very fashion savvy friend complemented how they looked on my face.
At this point, I realized, it wasn?t that the sunglasses dint suit me, it was my perception that they dint suit me, that made me hesitant. Once I overcame that mental hurdle, I was a lot more confident and open to trying newer styles and experimenting with different shapes.
Try ASOS before buying Armani
There are times, when I see certain glasses on people and I love how they look. However, if I?m not sure how they will look on me, then I tend to try try out the style with a high-street version before investing in an expensive pair.
Also, I?m more inclined to try out the high street version if I feel like the style is a trend. Example, I love the extreme angled cat eye, that currently trending. However, I?m not sure of this trend will last over the next 6-8 months. Hence, I prefer the high street version.
Classic Shapes and Patterns will Never Fail You
Classic shapes like Aviators and Wayfarers are classic and suit most face types. Also, they give out that ?pretty badass? vibe which I love!
Above all, other than the most obvious eye protection, sunglasses are all about style and its very important to have a little fun with it. Go with your gut and you’ll pull off any style!
What are your favourite type of sunglasses?
