This past weekend, we decided to take a little staycation in the Empty Quarter. Never having been to a desert retreat, I was very excited to the largest continuous sand desert in the world.
We stayed at the Qasr al Sarab resort by Anantara and not entirely sure how to dress in a desert. I decided to take this loose, striped, floral dress, which was great as it was casual yet smart and perfect ?for in resort lounging as well. The photographs in this post were taken when we climbed the tallest sand dune around the resort to watch the sunset. So, I can say with certainty that you can climb a sand dune as high as, 45-50 storeys, at least, in this dress too!
While the striped fabric makes the dress look smart, the floral embroidery adds a feminine touch to the look. I found it in a local boutique and am glad to have it as an addition in my wardrobe.
Have you ever been to a desert retreat?
