One of the big trends for Autumn/ Winter 16 is Leopard print. It was seen on the catwalks of Bottega Veneta, Calvin Klein , Givenchy and Dolce and Gabbana to name a few.
And if that was not enough, to immortalise this trend further, highstreet brands like Zara have entire lines dedicated to the leopard print. Beautiful shirts, skirts, jackets and coats.
I love the trend but wanted to dip my toes in this trend with something more subtle like a bag.
I often find that while wearing a busy print, its easier to style, if paired with a neutral colour. Being someone who wears a lot of neutral colours i.e. tans, nude, blacks and white, I found it easy to find quite a few things in my wardrobe that would actually work well with this trend. For this look, I decided to pick colours that are in the print- tan and black, making the look very cohesive.
Although it is still quite warm in Dubai, I have officially taken out all my ‘winter’ wear and jackets in the hopes that it will be cool soon. Hence the trench!
Also completely committing to the nude/ brown theme, I’m wearing NYX Soft Matte Cream in the shade Dubai on my lips. It is an absolutely amazing shade- a perfect ode to the 90s brown lip, and the fact that is is named after the city I live in makes me love it even more. Also, it is quite sheer, so great to layer up and build up intensity as per your liking. Here I’m wearing one layer, for a very natural look.
Have you tried the Leopard print trend? How would you wear it?
