Spring is officially here! Spring is my favourite season of the year, it usually starts in my birthday month March, and everything is pretty, pink and blooming. And to celebrate Spring, today I’m sharing my current, favourite makeup look.
I say Spring, but, this is a neutral eye makeup look, so its suitable for any season. For this look, I have have been using the?Tartelette in Bloom palette.?When I went to the US, I had decided to buy the Tartlette Palette from Tarte Cosmetics. However, when I got there, I found something much better- the Tartelette in Bloom palette.
This palette is the queen of all neutral palettes.
Although I always notice the packaging of a product, the most important aspect for me in the packaging is the functionality and user friendliness of it. However, the packaging colours on this palette are absolutely gorgeous. The Fuschia, Mauve and Violet colours truly represent Spring.
Once you open the palette, it only gets better. Inside are the 12 most beautiful neutral tones. They have a slight cooler, pink undertone, however, the colours are such that they will add a glow to the final look and not look ashy.
I love palettes, but I often find that while I like the idea of them, there are usually only a couple of shades I truly like, However, with this palette, I feel like I would genuinely wear all colours, even the top left cream colour, Charmer. My favourite however is Firecracker, which is a gorgeous shimmery copper shade.
I created this look using this palette and was amazed at how pigmented all the shades were. In addition, ?noticed that there was no fall out despite the intense colour.
For foundation, I used the Nars Sheer Glow. I really like this foundation, you can definitely tell that one is wearing foundation, but it doesn’t look like its too much. It has a satin finish, and doesn’t look too matte or cakey, It has adds a sheer glow, just like the name suggests.
For blush, I used my trusty Bobbi Brown Pale Pink. This is the perfect spring blush shade in my opinion.
On my lips, I wanted something that was comfortable and long lasting and hence wore the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Birkin Brown. I know brown doesn’t seem like a spring colour at all, however, the shade looks like a dark mushy red on me. I topped it off with my favourite Dior Lip Glow to add a little gloss to the lips.
I am happy with my current make up look. It is quick and still looks like I put a lot of thought and effort into it.
Do you have a Spring makeup look too?
