Wild Bluebell

I have a vague memory of having a bluebell plant in our old house, from when I was a little girl. A few years ago, I discovered Jo Malone’s Wild Bluebell and instantly all those childhood memories flooded me. It was just like they say, fragrance brings back memories.

Instantly, I remembered being mesmerised by that vibrant, violet-blue colour of the flowers as a child and memories of running around our little garden, when I was six years old came back to me.

It was right then that I realised that if I was to ever have a signature scent, this would be it. I know that’s a very bold statement to make, and especially for someone like me who loves fragrance. Yet, I have gone through several bottles over the last 5 years and I still feel the same way. It is also the only fragrance I have ever re-purchased (time and time over). I even wore it on my wedding day.

I’m not very good at describing scents, however, if I was to describe the scent of this fragrance, it an extremely delicate floral fragrance that. ?Maybe the most delicate of all floral scents that I have experienced. It is not over powering, yet quite distinct and very feminine ( in a good way!)

Because it is a light scent, the fragrance does not last for the longest time on me. However, when the fragrance along with the body cream of the same scent and that has increased the wear time. Even at the end of the day, I have come home to smell the scent, just about lingering on me.

Would I recommend this fragrance, yes! I wore it on my wedding day, What could be a greater recommendation than that? ?I genuinely love the scent of it.
