The 70s Print Dress

January 16, 2016

The 70s are back in big way. You see it everywhere, the hair, the makeup, the accessories, the fashion. While I’m not necessarily a big fan of all 70s fashion, I came across this dress on an ASOS sale, and it ticked all the boxes for me.

The dress has a unique blue 70s psychedelic print and a skater dress pattern, making the dress modern to me.?The dress also has bell capped sleeves, adding a nice little detail. In the past week, Dubai seemed to be getting back to its warm self, so as much as I am loving living in jumpers at the moment, it only felt right to wear something light and flowy.

I paired this outfit with my favourite tan Michael Kors Bag and New Look wedges. ?These wedges are extremely comfortable and I can last all day in them.

On a side note, my hair is doing its own thing now a days. Right after my wedding in February last year, I cut it into a very short bob and haven’t gotten a haircut since. I thing its time though. Although I enjoy the length, I think it needs a bit of a refresher. Does anyone have any recommendations for good hair stylists in Dubai?

Such a lovely dress! You’ve styled it so well with the simple necklace, too.

I woke up feeling very nostalgic about celebrating Independence day at home in India. It's been well over a decade and a half since I spent it at home with my family watching the celebrations on TV in the morning and patriotic themed Bollywood movies in the afternoon, but felt a tiny bit homesick today.
So I decided to wear colours sort of inspired by the Indian flag. ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’š
